This is a fast-paced, in-person UX course designed for beginners and career-switchers. Over 4 weeks, you'll learn key concepts of UX and apply them through a real project. Each week builds on the last — research, design, and test your way to a full case study by the end.

Course Syllabus
Week 1: Understand the Problem
- What is UX? How do we define good user experience?
- Intro to user research methods
- Creating personas from real user input
- Defining your design challenge
Week 2: Structure and Flow
- User journey mapping
- Identify pain points and opportunity areas
- Information architecture basics
- Sketching low-fidelity wireframes
Week 3: Visual Design & Prototyping
- UI design fundamentals: hierarchy, layout, type, color
- Intro to Figma: building mid- to high-fidelity screens
- Set up your design file (components, styles, variables, etc)
- Peer critique and feedback
Week 4: Usability Testing & Case Study Creation
- Running simple user tests (in-class or with friends)
- Synthesizing insights and iterating your designs
- Structuring your case study: problem, process, outcome
- Final project presentation day
